The Twin Falls Historical Museum has a new walking path that is like traveling back in time. It is full of the rich history of Twin Falls. The walking path is new and showcases some of the tools, people, and lifestyles of the past.

The museum spans two acres and has a walking path along the edges. While you walk along the path you will see things like the Union School which educated students for 50 years in the area. It closed its doors in 1968. The crafts building displays tools from old butcher shops, tack shops, and carpentry shops. You can even check out an old outhouse if you are curious about what people had to do prior to the 1950s. That is just to name a few. There is so much history along the path.

The Twin Falls Historical Museum is located on Hwy 30 between Twin Falls and Filer. You really can't miss it, it is a beautiful building. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon until 6 pm until September 1st. Then it will be open from noon to 5 pm. Admission is 100 percent free but they do accept donations. If you can give anything, it really helps them keep the museum running and updated.

There are tons of things to see in some of the outer buildings along the path and throughout the two acres of land. There are displays portraying irrigation, farming, old-school horse-powered equipment, and more. It focuses on showing what life was like for Twin Falls residents and surrounding areas during the early 1900s.
