WESTFIELD — A state panel on Thursday approved economic incentive packages for James Hardie Building Products in Westfield, the Duc-Pac Corp. as it moves to Springfield and Holyoke’s Canal Row.

All told, the Economic Assistance Coordinating Council approved 10 projects for participation in the Economic Development Incentive Program, according to a news release. These projects are expected to create 1,672 net new jobs and retain 345 jobs while leveraging approximately $1.3 billion in private investment.
